AT ALL AMERICAN PIANO CELEBRATION Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi performs music by Betty Wishart at the University of North Georgia's 27th Annual ALL AMERICAN PIANO CELEBRATION.

AT EMM Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi performs Ed Martin's "Swirling Sky," at the 2014 Electronic Music Midwest Festival. This work for piano and electronics was written for Astolfi. More information here.

IN NORTH CAROLINA Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi performs concerts in North Carolina featuring the music of composer Betty Wishart at Whalehead in historic Corolla, the Walkertown Public Library, the "October Sunday Afternoons" concert series at Centenary UMC in Greensboro, and at Campbell University.

AT LANIER VILLAGE ESTATES Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi performs solo piano music by Handel and Brahms at Lanier Village Estates (Gainesville, GA).

WITH PIEDMONT CAMERATA Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi performs with string players, Heather Strachan (vln), Rachael Fischer (vln), Megan Chisom Peyton (vla), and David Peyton (cello) as "Piedmont Camerata" featuring works by Dvorak, Faure, and Turina. More information here.

TOURING CD, "HERE AND THERE" Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi performs music from "Here and There, music for piano and electronics" at Clarke University (IA), Northern Illinois University (IL), Kent State University (OH), and Cleveland State University (OH). AT OBERLIN Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi performs Tom Lopez's "Confetti Variations," on the Annual Oberlin College and Conservatory Faculty Composers Concert. This work for piano and electronics was written for Astolfi.

DUOARTIA TOURS MINNESOTA AND WISCONSIN Duo pianists, Jeri-Mae Astolfi and Holly Roadfeldt, of duoARtia, will perform concerts of music for two pianos from the 20th and 21st Centuries throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin in November, 2013.  Venues include Viterbo University, Gustavus Adolphus University, the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities campus), the University of Wisconsin Madison, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.   The program will include 20th Century duo-piano repertoire by Bela Bartok and Witold Lutoslawski as well as recent compositions by James Leatherbarrow, Joseph Koykkar, Ed Martin, Kirk O'Riordan, Robert Paterson, James Wilding and Yehuda Yannay.  Tour information can be found here.

PERFORMANCE OF YEHUDA YANNAY'S "MIDWESTERN MYTHOLOGIST" Astolfi will perform Yehuda Yannay's innovative theatre piece for solo pianist, "Midwestern Mythologist" on the "Music From Almost Yesterday" series on Friday, September 20, 2013 at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts Recital Hall.  Further information can be found here.

PERFORMANCE OF "WISCONSIN SOUNDSCAPES" AT TALIESIN Astolfi will perform works from the "Wisconsin Soundscapes" project at the Taliesin Hillside Theater, in Spring Green, WI (Frank Lloyd Wright preservation).  She will be joined by Wisconsin Poet Laureate, Max Garland as they capture the vibrant spirit of the Wisconsin's people, places, events and culture.  Further information can be found HERE.

PERFORMANCE OF DINU LIPATTI'S, "DANSES ROUMAINES" Dinu Lipatti's two-piano arrangement of his work for piano and orchestra, "Danses Roumaines," will be performed on the UW Oshkosh campus by piano faculty members, Dr. Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi and Dr. Eli Kalman.  Further information can be found HERE.

GUEST PERFORMANCE WITH THE OSHKOSH CHAMBER SINGERS Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi will join the Oshkosh Chamber Singers' pianist, Marianne Chaudoir, in a performance of works for SATB and piano (four-hands) by Johannes Brahms, Aaron Copland, Charles Ives and Mack Wilberg, conducted by the OCS' music director, Dr. Carl  Chapman.  Concert information can be found HERE.

ASTOLFI PERFORMS ED MARTIN'S "SWIRLING SKY" AT MUSIC VIVA! Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi performs Ed Martin's work for piano and electronics at the 3rd Annual Musica Viva! Event.

ASTOLFI AND COMPOSER ED MARTIN DISCUSS "SWIRLING SKY" Presented by the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh's College of Letters and Science Dean's Symposium series, Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi and Ed Martin discuss their recent collaboration in the creation, performance, and recording of Dr. Martin’s work for solo piano and fixed media, “Swirling Sky."   This session, “’Swirling Sky’ for piano and fixed media: possibilities and implications of extending the acoustic piano using digital audio technology,” culminates with a live performance of this work.

DUOARTIA CONCERTS This spring, pianists Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi and Holly Roadfeldt of duoARtia will be featured in concert at Kent State University, University of Akron and at "Tutti," Denison University's New Music Festival.  Music will include works by Lutoslawski, Ravel, Bartok, O'Riordan, Wilding and two works written for duoARtia by Perttu and Leatherbarrow.  Concert information can be found HERE.

"HERE (AND THERE)" MIDWEST TOUR Celebrating the 2013 release of, Here (and there): music for solo piano and electronics (music written for Astolfi), live performances of this music will be performed at Lawrence University (WI), the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, Illinois State University, the University of Illinois, Butler University, the Oberlin Conservatory, the College of Wooster, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and at the Ohio State University.  Tour details can be found HERE.

ADJUDICATING EVENTS FOR SPRING 2013 Adjudication highlights for spring 2013 include hearing pianists at the Racine Music Teachers Association Piano Competition, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Concerto Competition, the Sheboygan/West Bend district WMTA Badger Keyboard Competition Auditions, the Appleton district WMTA auditions, the Wausau Conservatory of Music Scholarship Competition, the Lawrence Academy Piano Festival and at the Oshkosh district WMTA Badger Keyboard Competition Auditions.

ASTOLFI PERFORMS NEW WORK BY ED MARTIN AT THE THIRD PRACTICE FESTIVAL Composer Ed Martin's new work for piano and electronics, "Swirling Sky" was performed by Astolfi at the 2012 Third Practice Festival held at the University of Richmond, in Richmond, VA.

"WISCONSIN SOUNDSCAPES" CONCERTS PLANNED FOR FALL, 2012 Music commissioned by the Wisconsin Alliance for Composers for Astolfi (solo pianist) based on Wisconsin themes by Wisconsin composers Geoffrey Gordon, Joe Koykkar, Ryan McGuire, Joel Naumann, Yehuda Yannay and Donald J. Young will be performed at the following venues: the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, the Rahr-West Museum, Manitowoc, WI, the First Unitarian Society, Madison, WI, Three Lakes Center for the Arts, Three Lakes, WI, and the Pump-House Regional Arts Center, La Crosse, WI.  Astolfi is the pianist for these concerts.  Click HERE for more information.

WISCONSIN ALLIANCE FOR COMPOSERS IS AWARDED SECOND WISCONSIN ARTS BOARD GRANT The Wisconsin Alliance for Composers (WAC) was awarded a second grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board to support the performance of music from the "Wisconsin Soundscapes" project.  "Wisconsin Soundscapes" is a commissioning and touring venture sponsored by the WAC in which six composers were commissioned to write a solo piano piece for Astolfi based on a Wisconsin theme.  The selected composers are Geoffrey Gordon, Joe Koykkar, Ryan McGuire, Joel Naumann, Yehuda Yannay and Donald J. Young.  Astolfi is the piano soloist for the project.  The pieces will be premiered in September, 2012, followed by a regional tour.

DUOARTIA IS LAUNCHED Pianists Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi and Holly Roadfeldt debuted as piano duo, duoARtia on April 14, 2012 at Lafayette College in Easton, PA.  Other highlights of their premier tour were concerts at Chattam University in Pittsburgh, PA, at Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA and as the headliner for the Dana School of Music New Music Festival XXVIII at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, OH.

PREMIERE OF COMMISSION FOR PIANO AND CHOIR "Songs In a Time of War" by Canadian composer, Sid Robinovitch, was commissioned and premiered by the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Chamber Singers under the direction of Dr. Carl Chapman.  Jeri-Mae Astolfi was the piano soloist.

ASTOLFI PERFORMS NEW WORK BY ED MARTIN AT THE SEAMUS FESTIVAL Composer Ed Martin's new work for piano and electronics, "Swirling Sky" was performed by Astolfi at the 2012 Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States Festival held at Lawrence University, in Appleton, WI.

ASTOLFI PRESENTS WORKSHOP ON MEMORIZATION TO THE FVMTA YOUNG ARTIST'S FESTIVAL COMPETITORS The Fox Valley Music Teachers Association's 2012 Fox Valley Young Artist Festival featured a clinic on Memorization by Dr. Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi.

ASTOLFI PERFORMS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA IN GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA Music for solo piano and music for solo piano and electronics by composers Brian Belet, Stacey Barelos, Jeff Herriott, Ed Martin, Phillip Schroeder and Jack Tamul was performed in January, 2012 at University of Florida, Gainesville.  Astolfi also met with student composers for a composition workshop.
